The Sober Carpenter brewers were excited to use experimental hops #06297, known as lotus hops. The orange and vanilla notes from the carefully selected hops combined with the silkiness of the oats used in the mash create a velvety, Hazy IPA, reminiscent of a vanilla orange creamsicle🍊🍦

Double Dry Hopped beers have been dry-hopped twice during the fermentation process, increasing the complex aromas, and enhancing the beers' flavour.

HOPS: Lotus, Citra

MALT: 2 Row, Dextrin, Oats, Wheat

IBU: 52

DDH Hazy IPA

Very very hoppy, floral aroma, the bitterness of hops combining with a stone fruit note. A slight soapininess.
Very hoppy fruity body that dries in the aftertaste, lingering. Underlying sweetness is overlaid by a lemony grapefruit note. A faint note of apple and candy.
A good example of a west coast style IPA (although it is a NEIPA).
