Grown 1,500 meters above sea level in the misty Duyun Mountains of Guizhou, China, this radiant expression of green tea captures both the purity of altitude and the refinement of craft. Lao’s Guizhou Floral showcases the prized Du Yun Mao Jian leaf — known for its silky texture, floral depth, and mineral freshness — elevated through an innovative infusion method inspired by Mizudashi (cold extraction).

By blending hot and cold infusions, then layering in oak chips and a touch of pink pepper, Lao transforms tradition into a modern, complex, and gently sparkling experience — elegant enough for a wine glass.

Composition: Green tea and jasmine, fermented tea, wine vinegar, oak chips, pink pepper, and a hint of organic cane sugar.

Each Thea Placida is crafted from a slow infusion of whole-leaf teas and thoughtfully chosen ingredients, nothing more, nothing less.

We begin with long-fermented tea bases and a touch of wine vinegar to establish acidity, structure, and length. To this foundation, we add premium teas from terroirs like Du Yun Mao Jian (Guizhou) and Menghai Pu’Er (Yunnan), carefully infused to preserve the aromatic complexity of the leaf.

Oak and botanicals are layered with precision to shape texture and depth, like in natural winemaking.

No carbonation. No flavourings. No preservatives.

Just leaves, time, and care... for a drink that honours tea at its fullest expression.

Appearance: Pale green with golden hues; softly hazy with a velvety texture.

Aroma: Fragrant notes of white flowers, candied fruit, and ripe pineapple balanced by bright freshness.

Palate: Opens with ripe apricot and tropical tones, evolving into a refined bouquet of jasmine and osmanthus. The finish is tangy, subtly tannic, and gracefully long.
